1. Scope of Policies

These policies concern all Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS activities provided by Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS, including but not limited to:

• All camp activities (in-person and virtual)

• Video, group chats, prior recordings, or any other electronic means

• Hosted on any third-party platform (e.g., Zoom)

This agreement applies to all such services and events provided directly or indirectly by Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS and Calvary Chapel Eastside.

2. Agreement

This Agreement is made between you (and any person assisting you in visiting, accessing, registering for, or using the Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS website or services — collectively “you,” “your,” or “I”) and Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS and Calvary Chapel Eastside (“we,” “us,” or “the Organization”).

By accessing or registering for Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS and Calvary Chapel Eastside, you accept this legally binding Agreement in full. If you do not agree to all terms, you are strictly prohibited from accessing or using the website or services.

3. Modifications

We may modify or update this Agreement at any time. Changes will be posted on this or a similar page of the website and become effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement regularly.

4. Affiliations

Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS is affiliated with Calvary Chapel Eastside for its non-profit status. More details at: www.bellevuevbs.com/contact-us/about-us/affiliation

5. Health & Safety Policies

• Masks: Masks are optional throughout the camp. We trust parents/guardians to make appropriate health decisions for their children. Sanitizing stations will be available.

• COVID-19 Self-Monitoring: Participants and volunteers agree to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and report symptoms within 14 days after participation by contacting coronavirus@cancer.org.

6. Device Requirements

Each registered child must have their own electronic device and know how to use it to participate in Virtual Camp. We are not responsible for any connectivity issues.

7. Attendance and Security

• Attendance will be taken for registered guests.

• Non-registered attendees will be removed for security reasons.

• Do not forward virtual meeting links to non-registered parties.

8. Photo & Media Release

By participating, you grant Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS permission to use photographs, videos, or digital media featuring you or your children for any lawful purpose without compensation. All such media become our property.

9. Fees and Refunds

No refunds will be given after registration. You are responsible for the full registration fee.

10. Liability & Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS, Calvary Chapel Eastside, facility owners, and staff against any injury, liability, expense, or loss resulting from participation.

11. Teaching Philosophy

We teach according to Biblical truths and Judeo-Christian values. By attending, you agree to be taught under these principles.

12. Device & Network Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining your device, software, and internet connectivity. We do not guarantee compatibility with all devices or networks. You assume all fees related to device and network usage.

13. User-Submitted Content License

By submitting content (e.g., photos, posts) connected with Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS on social media or elsewhere, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and display that content.

14. Recordings & Consent

By participating in virtual or in-person camp events, you consent to audio/video recording and waive rights to inspect or approve the use of such recordings. All rights to these recordings belong to Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS.

15. Behavior and Removal Policy

We reserve the right to refuse or remove any participant who is disruptive, disorderly, abusive, or a safety risk. This includes removal from virtual meetings if requested by staff or if participants do not comply with rules (e.g., using virtual backgrounds, turning off video).

16. Electronic Communication Consent

By submitting your information, you consent to receive electronic communications from us via email, phone, text, or other methods, including promotional materials, as allowed by law. Standard message and data rates may apply.

17. Donations

All donations to Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS and Calvary Chapel Eastside are non-refundable.

18. Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

• You acknowledge the risks involved in participation, including injury or illness such as COVID-19, and voluntarily assume all such risks.

• You release Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS, Calvary Chapel Eastside, and their affiliates from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damages, including negligence.

• You authorize emergency medical treatment for your child if necessary and accept full financial responsibility for such care.

19. Volunteer Background Check Consent

Volunteers consent to background checks and authorize the Organization to verify provided information. False information may result in rejection or immediate discharge.

20. Copyright Notice

All content on the website and associated media platforms are copyright protected by Summer Camp by Bellevue VBS.
